Statistics: Russia’s inflation again at 0.1% in May 7–Monday
MOSCOW, May 15 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation remained at 0.1% from May 7 through Monday and reached 2.2% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
In the reported week, prices for millet rose by 0.8%, for buckwheat by 0.4%, for pasta 0.3%, for mutton, sausages, knackwursts, half-smoke sausage, frozen fish, butter, bread of flour of the first and second categories, rise and salt 0.2%.
Prices for eggs fell by 2.1%, and for sugar by 0.3%.
Fruit and vegetable prices rose 0.5% on average.
Gasoline and diesel fuel prices remained unchanged.
